Day 01 COCHIN – TAIPEI
    • Cochin International Airport
      • Departure to Taipei at 0030Hrs. Arrive Taipei at 1400Hrs via hub city. Transfer to Hotel

Day 02 Taipei Northern Cost Tour.
    • Morning visit Yehliu Geographic Park. Make your first stop at the Queen’s Head at Yehliu Geopark. Gaze in awe at the magical views of stone formations inside the park.Your guide will not only snap cool shots for you, but will also explain the formation of the unique stones as well as the Taiwanese people and their culture.
    •  Then, visit Chifen village, which is well known for its beauty and history as a former goldmine town in Northern Taiwan.
    • Taste delicious Taiwanese snack along the alley, or choose the option to enjoy tea at the A-Mei Tea House, which inspired Oscar awarded animator Hayao Miyazaki for the beautiful house in Spirited Away. Evening visit Pingxi Sky Lantern After this, continue your scenic tour to Pingxi, Taiwan’s most romantic place.
    • Stroll along Shifen Old Street, one of the most popular movie shooting spots, where you can see a collection of local shops along old train tracks and winding lanes. Towards the end of your tour, make wishes by releasing by a sky lantern into the air and hope that

Day 03 TAIPEI – TAICHUNG
    • Morning transfer to Taichung. Taichung is the 3rd largest city in Taiwan. Visit Rainbow village, National Taichung Theatre, Miyahara, and Fong jia night market. Begin at Chung-she Flower Garden, also known as Chungshe Flower Market.
    • The vast and colorful garden covers 6 hectares, featuring hundreds of thousands flowering plants, such as tulips, sunflowers, calla lilies, roses and many more. From January to December, there are always beautiful flowers blooming in the garden.
    • In addition to the fascinating flower beds, there are gorgeous installations like swing chairs, floral arches, the replicas of piano and windmills, etc, which are perfect for photo shooting. Continue on to Rainbow Village, which is considered the most Instagram place in Taichung.
    • It was originally a former military dependents’ village that is brightly painted in every corner by Huang Yung Fu, also known as “Rainbow Grandpa.”
    • Next, sip on drinks and eat pastries in Miyahara, originally an ophthalmology clinic during Japanese colonization. After the transformation by a local pastry company, today Miyahara is widely known for its Hogwarts lookalike interior decoration and variety of sweets.
    • Later, stop for a group photo at National Taichung Theatre, an opera house designed by the famous Japanese architecture “Toyo Ito”. The opera house is referred as one of the most difficult architectures to build in the world, because of its curved surfaces.
    • Here you can enjoy a close-up view of this architectural masterpiece, appreciating every detail created with innovative construction methodologies by the master. End the tour at the Gaomei Wetland, where you enjoy the view of windmills spinning on the wide-open beach,creating an endless view in the far horizon.

Day 04 TAICHUNG – KAOHSIUNG

TAICHUNG – KAOHSIUNG

  • Morning transfer to Kaohsiung. In Kaohsiung visit Foguanshan Buddhist Monastery, Tiger & Dragon Pagoda. & Cijing Island. Located in the southern part of Taiwan, the city of Kaohsiung is the island’s largest industrial centre.
  • A thriving international metropolis at the southern tip of Taiwan, Kaohsiung was the host city for the 2009 World Games. Due to the regulating effects of the marine climate, Kaohsiung is generally sunny and enjoys pleasant weather year-round.
  • Known as “Taiwan’s Maritime Capital,” the city has worked hard in recent years to develop its tourism industry, including through beautification of the urban landscape. Kaohsiung is home to several popular visitor sites, including the Love River, Shoushan (Mt. Shou), Xiziwan Bay, Lotus Pond, Qijin, and the Old City of Zuoying.
  • It also is an ethnic melting pot, joining Hokkien and Hakka communities, the Pingpu, Tsou, Rukai, Bunun, and Paiwan indigenous tribes, and a military community culture. Kaohsiung also offers scenic mountains, ocean views, and rivers, as well as port, cultural, and historic attractions.
  • Visitors to the city can experience the beauty of nature and savor fine cuisine, or head to the nearby Hakka village of Meinong to experience traditional oil paper umbrella art.
  • The Neimen Songjiang Battle Array and the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist monastery in Dashu further add to the ethnic richness of Kaohsiung. Day 05 KAOHSIUNG – Tainan – TAOYUAN
  • Ancient Capital Tainan, the ancient capital of Taiwan, is situated on the southwestern coastal plains of the island and enjoys a warm climate year-round.
  • Tainan is the birthplace of Taiwan and the oldest city on the island. In 1661, the Ming loyalist Cheng Cheng-kung drove the Dutch from Taiwan and established his administration in Tainan.
  • At the time, mainland Chinese immigrants were coming to Taiwan in droves, helping the young city to grow. After the Qing pacification of Taiwan in 1683, the Taiwan Prefectural Capital was established in Tainan. In 1885, Taiwan became a province and Tainan’s position changed to that of Tainan Prefectural Capital, from which its current name derives.
  • Tainan remained the political, economic and cultural center of Taiwan up to the late nineteenth century. As a result, Tainan is home to many famous historic sites. It also is the city with the longest history and earliest cultural roots in Taiwan.
  • Late afternoon transfer to Taoyuan. Overnight in Taoyuan Hotel: Aeris Hotel Taichung 4* or similar. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 06 TAOYUAN – TAIPEI
  • Morning transfer to Taipei. City sights include the Martyr’s Shrine, The shrine was built in the 1969, dedicated to the fallen soldiers in civil wars and armed conflicts, to honor their brave spirit..
  • Every year on Youth Day and Armed Forces Day, the president of Taiwan leads the civil and military officials to pay floral tribute to the martyrs. The changing of the guard ceremony is performed hourly from 09:00 to 17:00 every day, which attracts large numbers of tourists from overseas.
  • Lin An Tai Historical House and Taipei 101, the 101-floor landmark skyscraper that claimed the title of the world’s tallest building when it opened in 2004. Visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, was built to commemorate late president Chiang Kai-shek.
  • Surrounded by a large Chinese-style park and a huge plaza, the iconic hall has white marble walls and a roof with blue glazed tiles. On the three floors inside, visitors can see a large bronze statue of a sitting Chiang Kai-shek and check out the exhibition area with historic documents, photographs, and films.
  • On two sides of the large plaza in front of the memorial hall are the National Theater and the National Concert Hall, two great venues for the performing arts regularly featuring famous artists from Taiwan and abroad and the Dalongdong Baoan Temple, originally
    built by clan members in Tong’an, Xiamen, who immigrated to Taipei in the early 19th century. Later drop at Ximending shopping area. Hotel: Cham Cham Hotel Taipei 4* or similar. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 07 TAIPEI – Airport
    • Free at leisure until departure airport transfer. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your Tour.
